OVERVIEW
Chinese (or Asian) Brush Painting uses Chinese brushes, rice paper, ink, and watercolors. However, watercolor paper and watercolor brushes are NOT traditionally used.
The following budget-friendly Chinese Brush Painting materials may be purchased from Amazon and additional accessories you can find at home. Alternatively, feel free to use your own Chinese Brush Painting supplies or obtain comparable items elsewhere.
The ESTIMATED COST for brushes/ink/paper is approximately $50 plus tax and shipping.

4) ACCESSORIES--items you can bring from HOME:

2 small plastic (or ceramic) sauce dishes (white, approximately 3" diameter)

2 small plastic plates (white, approximately 6”-8” diameter)

2 small plastic water containers (approximately 6”-8” diameter x 3” deep)

Newsprint, kraft, or butcher paper or craft felt (approximately 15”x15” or larger to absorb moisture and protect the table)

Small fine-mist spray bottle (approximately 2-4oz)
