Live Performance Art at the Asian Pacific Islander American Scholars (APIA) Gala

Mayee is a featured artist demonstrating Chinese Brush Painting at the 20th Anniversary Gala Event held at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles on May 22, 2024.

Since its inception two decades ago, APIA Scholars has become the nation’s leading non-profit organization devoted to reducing financial barriers for Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) students, particularly those historically underserved and marginalized. Over the past 20 years, APIA Scholars has awarded over $150 million in scholarships to 8,600 students representing 48 distinct ethnicities.

BMW M Motorsport announces that Mayee was selected as one of four winners in an international creative competition to design the new BMW M4 GT4. Mayee’s “Fluid Power” design will be implemented as high-quality foiling on the BMW M4 GT4.

Segerstrom Arts Teach classes

Arts Teach supports art education at public and private schools throughout Orange County, California. Individual schools select an artist to engage their students for several weeks. Mayee teaches Chinese Brush Painting to children and teens from pre-school to 12 grade including special needs and alternative education.
